Falling Trees in Brooklyn - Aftermath of Sandy



During Hurricane Sandy, mature trees were uprooted like matchsticks, crushing cars and downing power lines. More than a week after the hurricane, much of the damage was yet to be cleared and repaired.

No Gas in Brooklyn



Almost two weeks after Hurricane Sandy, only 20% of the gas stations in Brooklyn had gas. People waited for hours at the other stations, while some bought gas on the black market for more than double the regular price.
